ASPEC has been engaged by Bechtel Australia to audit the deconstruction methodology for 3.18 and 3.19 Stackers
as well as 4.09 and 4.10 Reclaimers at Port Waratah Coal Services – Kooragang Island Coal Terminal. The deconstruction project is being executed by Sandvik Mining Corporation and follows the decision to replace the 4 yard machines which were originally built in the early 1980’s.The machine replacement is part of the 3EXP expansion of the terminal in which ASPEC had previously been engaged to carry out the design audit of the new yard machines, 3.21, 3.22, 3.58 and 3.59 Stackers and 4.12, 4.59 and 4.60 Reclaimers
